<\/i>\u00a0I shall endeavour to bring to your attention your personal point in evolution.\u00a0<\/span>I would remind you at this point that these seven rays are sharply different as to colouring and phenomenal effect and, at the same time, I would remark that\u2014under the\u00a0Law of Occult Paradox<\/span>\u2014the seven Lords of Being (the seven Rays) are widely different but remain non-separative.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Although there is one mention of the Law of Occult Paradox<\/strong> in the writings of AAB, there is this reference in A Treatise on White Magic<\/a> to “occult paradox” that is likely to be related:<\/p>\n

\u00a0“The happiness of youth or the self-centred contentment of the selfish insulated person (hiding himself behind the shield of his protective desires) must not be confounded with joy.\u00a0<\/span>It is a platitude as well as an\u00a0occult paradox<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>to say that in the midst of profound personality distress and unhappiness, the joy of the sou<\/strong>l may be known and felt.\u00a0<\/span>Such however is the case, and it is for this the student must aim.<\/span>\u00a0”\u00a0-A Treatise on White Magic , THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE – Part 2<\/a><\/p>\n
