Law of Occult Paradox

Law of Occult Paradox

Below is the only reference to the Law of Occult Paradox in the writings of Alice A. Bailey (AAB) and Djwhal Khul (DK). Links on these pages of the Laws of Alice A. Bailey are to the online books at the Lucis Trust website.

For a discussion of what AAB means by a “law” please see  Alice A. Bailey – What is a Law?

I shall endeavour to bring to your attention your personal point in evolution. I would remind you at this point that these seven rays are sharply different as to colouring and phenomenal effect and, at the same time, I would remark that—under the Law of Occult Paradox—the seven Lords of Being (the seven Rays) are widely different but remain non-separative.

Although there is one mention of the Law of Occult Paradox in the writings of AAB, there is this reference in A Treatise on White Magic to “occult paradox” that is likely to be related:

“The happiness of youth or the self-centred contentment of the selfish insulated person (hiding himself behind the shield of his protective desires) must not be confounded with joy. It is a platitude as well as an occult paradox to say that in the midst of profound personality distress and unhappiness, the joy of the soul may be known and felt. Such however is the case, and it is for this the student must aim. ” -A Treatise on White Magic , THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE – Part 2

In reference to “the joy of the soul” in the above contact you might want to read about soul contact.
